Junk Removal in Stanton, CA | EA Junk Removal Guide
How much does junk removal cost in Stanton?
Most Stanton jobs land between $75 and $700, and the price comes down to how much space your stuff fills in our truck. A single item like a mattress or a busted recliner runs $75 to $175. A quarter truckload is $200 to $300. A half load is $300 to $450, and a packed full truck is $500 to $700. Eric and I quote you a flat number before we lift anything, so there is no meter running and no surprise line item at the end. You can see the full breakdown on our Orange County price index.
We are EA Junk Removal, a family-owned crew that has hauled junk across north and central OC since 2018. Stanton sits right in our home turf, minutes off the 22 and Beach Boulevard, so we get there fast and we keep it simple.
Here is how the load sizes shake out, so you can eyeball where your pile lands before you even call.
| Load size | Price range | What usually fits |
|---|---|---|
| Single item | $75 to $175 | One mattress, one couch, or a single appliance |
| Quarter truck | $200 to $300 | A small room, a few pieces of furniture, some boxes |
| Half truck | $300 to $450 | A one-car garage or a couple of furnished rooms |
| Full truck | $500 to $700 | A packed two-car garage or a full apartment clear-out |
These are the same published ranges we quote everywhere in OC. Your final number depends on the actual volume once we see it, but the photos you send get us close before we roll up.
Does Stanton pick up bulky items for free?
Yes, and Stanton actually has one of the more generous programs we see in the area. If you are a single-family home on curbside cart service, CR&R gives you unlimited bulky-item pickups at no extra charge, with up to four items per scheduled pickup. You just have to book it at least two business days before your regular collection day. Call CR&R at (714) 372-8272 to set it up.
Multi-family and apartment properties get a smaller deal. Those tend to be capped at four bulky pickups per year, four items each. If you live in an apartment or a mobile-home community, confirm your current allowance with CR&R or your property manager before you drag everything to the curb. You can read the city’s own rules on the Stanton bulky item pickup page.
So when does the free program work and when does it not? It works great for a couch, a mattress, a couple of chairs. It falls apart when you have a full garage, a hoarding situation, heavy debris, or you need it gone today. CR&R will not go inside your house, carry things down stairs, or take construction leftovers. That is the line where folks call us.
Which Stanton neighborhoods do we work in most?
Stanton is compact, so we cover the whole city, but a few pockets keep us busy.
- The Beach Boulevard corridor. Older single-story homes and a lot of turnover. We see a steady run of garage cleanouts here when a house changes hands.
- The neighborhoods around Katella Avenue and Cerritos Avenue. Family homes with deep garages and backyards that collect years of stuff. These tend to be our half and full-truck jobs.
- The mobile-home and manufactured communities off Beach and Katella. Tight spaces and narrow driveways, so residents often skip the curb program and have us carry it out by hand.
- The area near Stanton Central Park and the civic center. More apartments and rentals, which means a lot of move-out loads and single-item pickups.
None of that is a knock on any street. It is just the pattern we see after years of driving these routes. Every load is different.
What do we haul most often in Stanton?
Furniture is the big one, so we run a lot of furniture removal here, mostly sofas, sectionals, and mattresses. Garages are second, which is why garage cleanouts stay busy year-round. And with a lot of older homes, we get plenty of dead washers, dryers, and fridges, so appliance removal rounds out the list. If you want the Stanton-specific rundown, check our Stanton service page.
Where can you donate or drop off junk in Stanton yourself?
Before anything hits a landfill, we try to donate what still has life in it, and you can too. A couple of spots near Stanton take good used goods:
- Goodwill of Orange County in Cypress, at 6006 Lincoln Ave, Cypress, CA 90630. This one has a drive-thru donation lane, so you pull up and an attendant unloads the car. Phone is (714) 503-6822. You can find hours on the Goodwill OC donation page.
- Habitat for Humanity OC ReStore in Anaheim, at 1656 West Katella, Anaheim. They take furniture, appliances, and home goods, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For a bigger drop or a pickup, call their donation hotline at 714-434-6202 or see the Habitat OC donation page.
One tip from experience: call ahead on anything big. Both places turn away items that are torn, stained, or broken, and a wasted trip is no fun. When we haul for you, we sort the donatable stuff and drop it for you, so you skip the round trip entirely.
What is the nearest landfill if you want to self-haul?
If you rent a truck and want to dump it yourself, your closest public landfill from Stanton is Olinda Alpha in Brea, at 1942 N Valencia Ave, Brea, CA 92823. It is open Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fees are low for self-haul, usually around $5 for a carload and roughly $20 for a typical pickup-truck load, but rates change, so confirm the current fee on the OC Waste and Recycling page before you go.
Heads up on the other big OC site: Frank R. Bowerman Landfill in Irvine is commercial-only and does not take walk-in residential loads, so do not drive there with your household junk. Olinda Alpha is the one that takes the public. It also does not accept hazardous waste, so paint, batteries, and chemicals need a separate household hazardous-waste drop.
Honest math: by the time you rent a truck, pay the gate fee, burn the gas up to Brea, and do the lifting twice, a full self-haul day often costs more than a quarter-truck job with us, and it eats your Saturday. For one or two items it can pencil out. For a real load, it usually does not.
When should you call us instead of the city?
Use the free CR&R program when you have a few items, they fit the four-per-pickup rule, and you can wait for your collection day. Call us when any of this is true:
- You need it gone this week, not next collection cycle.
- It is inside, upstairs, or in the backyard and someone has to carry it out.
- It is more than the city will take, like a whole garage or a full house cleanout.
- It is a mix of stuff, furniture plus appliances plus boxes, and you do not want to sort it.
We do the lifting, we sweep up after, and you point. That is the difference.
How do you book EA Junk Removal in Stanton?
Booking us is quick. Call or text Eric and me at (949) 565-2609, or send photos through our contact page. Photos help us give you a tighter price before we show up. We confirm a flat quote, set a two-hour window, and knock it out, usually same week and often same day if the schedule allows.
